I got up, got dressed, and drove to Jack’s for a Sausage Biscuit this morning.
Afterward, I drove back home and took a quick shower. Yes, I went to Jack’s before I showered. It was just the drive-thru.

We have a new storage building. The Chapel was supposed to be a storage building, but momma put a stop to that.
In all fairness, we all love the Prayer Chapel.

I’m slowly moving things, that I can store, into the storage building.
When I say slowly, I mean it. Papa and I are in no hurry.
We are both moving things into storage at our own pace. We would rather do it ourselves and do it at our pace. It is working out nicely.

Later, I drove to CVS, where I ran into a childhood friend I hadn’t seen in years. This is where I messed up.
I hadn’t seen him in years and was pretty psyched to see him again.
He asked how I was…
So, everything you know about me through my stories, I told him in about one minute. I started by telling him about my Colostomy and Urostomy … I don’t know why I did that. Way too much info for two friends just catching up …
Why didn’t I just say, “I’m doing good, man, you?” Geeze…
I did give him my email address. Maybe we can go fishing together.

Later in the day, I drove over to one of our local restaurants, “The White House Restaurant.” It’s a favorite for many in this community.

I got the “Smoked Sausage and Onions” to eat.
It was delicious.
I was able to sit quietly and think without any distractions.
When I got up to go and pay, my waitress told me that someone had paid my bill for me. —Thank you, and God Bless You to whoever did that for me. —I did pay it forward.

And I have to say that it was a good day.

That is all for now.

Love you,

–Lynn
