—Morning Blog 1/8/2022—
The morning started at about 6 AM.
I got dressed and walked out to my truck for my morning drive. I stopped off at the fridge and grabbed a Diet Coke for my trip— It was nice and cold.
I get in the truck, crank it up, and turn the heat on.
At the stop sign, I opened my Diet Coke.
Now, there is a scientific explanation about this, I’ve even looked it up before, but I don’t remember what it is at the moment, but my Diet Coke immediately turned to slush when I opened it— I love when that happens.
I assure you that it was not slushy before opening it up.
Something Scientific happens under certain conditions, and the Cola turns to slush upon opening it up.
“It’s gonna be a great day,” I said to myself.
I get to the local Fast Food Joint and order my usual.
I pulled to the window.
“The car in front of you paid for your order,” says the lady at the window.
Now, in the South, maybe in other places as well, when this happens, it’s proper etiquette to pay for the person behind you. Yes. It has different names. A few are: “Pay it forward.” Another is, “Keep it going.”
I said, “keep it going. I’ll pay for the car behind me.”
I then went to Dollar General and got some cleaning supplies because I’m cleaning my room today.
Since the day was going so well, I made plans to meet up with a Friend and give him his Christmas gift.— I hadn’t had a chance to give it to him yet.
And, Yes, Sir. It’s gonna be a good day.
That’s all for now.
Love you,
–Lynn
