Snow Globes

As many of you know, I build snow globes this time of year.
It’s something I can do that doesn’t require much effort or strength.
It does require a bit of brainpower, though. (Believe it or not)

This year I bought a 6-foot folding table or a “Crafts Table,” and Today, I set it up.

Back on October the 18th of 2021, I went to the local Hobby store in Gardendale and purchased everything I needed for my snow globes this year.
When I got home, I sat them to the side.
Well, today, I pulled them out and sat them on my new Crafts Table.

I unwrapped everything that the clerk had wrapped in paper to keep the items from breaking.
That’s when I noticed something strange…

“I didn’t purchase a ceramic Easter Bunny…” I thought to myself.

“Where’d all these ceramic baby chickens come from?”

“What’s all this stuff?”

I called momma into the room to see if she had purchased any of it.

“I wouldn’t buy that stuff,” Mom said. “Hand me your receipt.”
I handed it to her.

“None of this stuff is on the receipt. You paid for your things but somehow got the wrong bag.”

The thing is, I don’t even remember what I had bought. I know it wasn’t Easter stuff, though. They’ll be able to tell by the receipt—I hope.

…And, most of this stuff is too big for a snow globe.

I guess I need to take it back to the Hobby Store, but I don’t really know how even to begin to explain.
