—The Dishwasher—
My eyes were blurry, making me think my blood sugar was high.
I checked it and, as I thought, it was high.
I gave myself some insulin.
Next, I walked into the kitchen to put the dishes into the dishwasher.
I loaded the washer up, but I couldn’t find any dish detergent pods.
Laying on the counter, though, was a small bottle of “Dishwasher Liquid.” So, I used that instead.
I closed the door, turned the knob to “Normal Wash,” and walked away.
A good twenty minutes later, I walk to the fridge to grab a Diet Coke.
That’s when I saw “it.” —Soap Suds coming out of the dishwasher door. —Lots of it.
I quickly run over and open the dishwasher door up. The whole inside is full of soap suds.
I run into the bathroom and grab towels— Several.
Then, I began the task of soaking up all the suds using the towels.
Next, I picked the bottle of “detergent” up to see what I had used because I knew I had made a mistake.
The bottle reads, “Dishwashing Liquid.”
In other words, I put dish soap into the dishwasher.
I cleaned up all unused dish soap and cleaned the mess up.
I then reran the washer…and again…and again…until it no longer leaked out soap suds.
On the bright side, the dishwasher is now very clean.
