I think about many things when doctor appointments arise or when I’m sickly.
There is lots of sitting and waiting, but there is also lots of driving.
So, plenty of time for thinking.
The things I think and wonder about, though, nobody would care to hear.
For one thing, I’m no scholar.
For the past several days, I’ve been thinking about God. Or, as I call Him, “Father God.”
I write about Father God a lot. I hardly ever post those writings, though.
Too many people could debate me.
And I’m no good with debates.
If I had been on the High School Debate Team as a teen, my finger and certain “words” would have gotten used and hollered from me to the opposing team. As a teen, that is.
Still, I think about things. I wonder.
It always amazes and saddens me to know people don’t believe in Him. God.
For those who believe two giant rocks rammed into each other, creating everything, I always ask:
Who made those two giant rocks?
Who put all the elements found on the “Periodic Table of The Elements” into those two giant rocks? They would have to contain some Elements.
If the human body had just developed, by itself, with no outside “Higher Power,” I don’t think it would have all the “Add-ons.” All the extras.
For one, we would be more like many animals with our eyes and vision.
Humans would only have two cones in their eyes if we came from nothing.
We wouldn’t see all the colors.
And then there’s smell:
Coming into the house when a pan of cornbread has just come out of the oven is one of the most pleasant smells.
Then there’s the smell of BBQ and Steak as they are cooking.
Fried Vegetables also put off a delicious smell.
Oddly, I like the smell of gas. I’m weird, though.
And what about the incredible smell of a salad? —Just seeing if you’re keeping up.
God gave us those abilities.
But, as I said, others could and would debate that, and I’m not smart enough to debate back.
Speaking of “smelling,” what about our taste buds?
Salty and sweet.
All the different tastes we are able to experience. All the different foods we like to eat.
I believe if we came from nothing, we would be
vegetarians, and not by choice. We would eat greens, I believe.
Our eyes, brain, and spinal cord are all very complex.
For our brain to comprehend what we are looking at takes a lot of complex “Computing.”
I don’t think we would have any Sphincter Muscles if we came from nothing. God gave us Sphincters. He knew what He was doing. He knew y’all would need ’em. Mine is another story.
When you throw 4.5 billion years into the equation, well, they say a lot can happen in billions of years.
All of this is debatable, and I wouldn’t be able to debate it.
I know this, though:
If I sat all the hardware out on a table to build a PC, including the Windows NT4 Workstation CD —the best desktop OS Microsoft has ever put out— and walked away for 4.5 billion years: when I came back, it wouldn’t all be put together and running Windows NT4 Workstation —the best desktop OS Microsoft has ever put out—
I takes a “Higher Power” to build all the parts and assemble all the parts to build the PC running Windows NT4 Workstation.—the best desktop OS Microsoft has ever put out—
To create a book, you need a writer to type it up. All the words in order and correctly punctuated. Ink and paper to print it on. Something to bind it together.
In other words, it takes a “Higher Power” to print a book out.
These are things I think about.
In the examples above, People are the “Higher Power.”
And I’ve determined that In life, God is the Higher Power.
