The sun had set, but you could still see the blue sky.
It had cooled off a good bit.
I went to Sonic for something off of their “Snack” menu.
My blood sugar was low, and I didn’t want to eat Ice Cream to bring it back up.
I order a Corndog, Chedder-Peppers, and a Diet Coke, and I pull up to the window.
In front of me, across the parking lot, comes a bigger than usual mini-van. It’s not a big van. It’s a mini-van, but it’s longer than most. It’s White with Black trim.
Behind the mini-van is the smallest, tiniest car I’ve ever seen. I think this thing can only hold one person. White with Black trim.—the same color as the mini-van.
The cashier opens the window to take my money just as I bust out laughing.
“What’s so funny?”
“It looks like that mini-van had a baby,” and I continue laughing uncontrollably.
The cashier calls the other crew over to see the tiny car.
“Awe. It’s so cute.” Says one.
“Awe. I want one.” Says another.
“He said it looks like the mini-van had a baby.”
And they all bust out laughing.
I pay for my Snacks, turn on Bob Segar, and take the back way home.
And it was a good drive.
