I’m dressed, my meds have been taken, and my Derby Hat is on my head.
Earlier this morning, I got mom to take Niece Number Two to School.
That allowed “Tommy the Dawg” and me to go for a drive.
I’ve been slowly taking longer and longer drives with Tommy each day to get him accustomed to riding in the seat longer and longer.
Today’s drive was over an hour. Tommy loved it.
While out, I filled up on gas and bought myself a Diet Coke.
Walking around in the Store, I came across a new drink put out by Pepsi.
“Limited Edition,” the sign read, “For a limited time only.”
I picked the drink up. “Pepsi Peeps,” the bottle of Coke read.
Oh, here in the south, all “Sodas” are called “Coke.”
When ordering at a restaurant, the order might go something like this:
“I’ll have the burger and fries with a Coke to drink.”
“What kind of Coke you want, Sir?”
“Mt. Dew.”
Yes. I’m being serious.
So, anyway, Pepsi has a drink flavored after the “Peeps” candy.
I bought two.
After arriving back home, I put the “Cokes” in the fridge and got myself a shower.
I’m now cleaned up and am ready to start this day.
