About this time each year, I begin working on one of my favorite hobbies—building Snow Globes.
Yep.
Growing up, I’ll bet some of the older fellas said, “I bet he grows up to build Snow Globes…”
I kid. —Back to my post.
Each year, I buy everything from the “Globes” themselves to the items I will place in each globe, including the Glycerin Oil and Glue.
And since I’m still “New” to building Snow Globes, I give them away to Family and Friends for Christmas.
Each year I’ve gotten a tad bit better.
I usually make each one different by using different items in each Snow Globe.
This year though, I bought twenty-five objects to go into my Snow Globes.
Eighteen are of one particular object, and the rest are of another object.
And this year, I have everything perfectly planned—I hope.
This year’s batch will last a long time—Forever, maybe.
I made one of these last year, to see how it would look a year later, and it still looks as good as it did on the day I made it.
With all that said —Drum Roll, Please— this year’s Snow Globes will all have Birds.
Yep.
Some Birds will have a Santa Hat on them. Others will be the very Special “Red Bird.”
I’ve bought enough for twenty-five Snow Globes.
I’ve cleaned and straightened my “Hobby Table” and am ready to start today.
I’ll post some pictures a little later.
That’ll give you a better idea of what’s going on in my room.
