I’m wiped out. Tonight I will sleep the best sleep I’ve slept in a while.
I did Spring Cleaning in my bedroom, bathroom, and closet today.
I even spent 50 dollars at Dollar General for Closet Organizer supplies.
Before you start thinking I worked up a sweat, I didn’t. I took it slow.
I’m not supposed to lift anything heavy, and I didn’t.
I took many breaks in my recliner, which is why I still haven’t finished.
It may take three days to complete this task. However, it would only take you a day. You’d get after it and get it done. I must take it slow and easy.
I have a couple of Suit Jackets that I can no longer wear. Too small.
I got saddened when I looked at myself in the mirror wearing one of the jackets.
“A younger me used to fit in this little thing,” I thought to myself, and I wondered what event I last wore it to.
I’ll either give those jackets away or donate them to the Thrift Store, Salvation Army, or somewhere like that.
I hope to give them away to someone.
Someone corrected me on one of my stories today and said, “It’s ‘himself,’ and not ‘hisself.'”
To which I said, “I know. I did that on purpose. Older Southerners will say ‘hisself,’ and I like using ‘hisself.'”
If you were in North Carolina in the ’50s and ’60s, you’d hear the word ‘hisself’ used a lot.
“I know it isn’t proper, but I like using it,” Lynn said to hisself.
That’s all for now.
Love you,
–Lynn
