I got up out of bed this morning around 6 AM.
“Alexa, turn on Barney.”
“Alexa, turn on Andy.”
I got my bearings and wandered into the bathroom to take a shower.
I had to change bandages and wafers.
Afterward, I sat at my laptop and looked out the window.
The sky was one big cloud—off-White.
The “Alexa” device reports that we are under a wind advisory until 9 AM today.
I checked my e-mails and decided that later this morning, I would take “Tommy the Dawg” for a drive around the mountain.
Recently, I finished reading “Travels with Charlie: In Search of America” by “John Steinbeck,” and immediately went into re-reading “Where The Red Fern Grows.”
I say “Reading,” but I actually listened to “Travels with Charlie” on Audible.
I have the Hardback copy of “Where The Red Fern Grows,” and also have it on Audible.
So, for it, I’m doing both; listening and reading.
I listen in the car when I take Niece Number Two to school and pick her up.
It’s 8:40 AM, and I’m still not completely awake yet.
It’s going to be a slow day today.
That’s all for now.
Love you,
–Lynn
