A Haunting

—A Haunting In Lynns Truck—

I personally don’t believe in “Haunted Houses” or anything like that.
That’s just me. People in my family believe in things like that. I just don’t.
I do believe in the Holy Spirit. Don’t get me wrong there, either.

People used to say the house, that Mom and Papa had built, was Haunted.
My oldest brother swears the house we used to live in was Haunted.
I never believed it, though.

Now, on my way home from the Cabin, my beliefs got tested.

My phone hooks up to my vehicle’s radio using the Blue Tooth.
That way, everything is “hands-free.”

Out of the blue, my phone started calling people.
My radio would start playing music from my phone. And it wasn’t music that I had on my phone.
I rebooted my phone.

I was listening to XM Old-Timey Radio, and all was good. Great, in fact.
Then, bands, I didn’t even listen to begin playing.
They appeared to be playing from my phone. I hadn’t downloaded any of that music, and I knew it.
And my phone dialed my Oldest Brother.
I pressed the “hang up” button to hang up.
I rebooted my phone again.

Again, I go back to listening to XM Old-Timey Radio. “Johnny Dollar,” to be exact.
And, just like that, a Preacher comes over my radio telling me about Jesus.

I say aloud, “Okay, Jesus, you obviously want me to hear something. So, you have my attention. I’ll listen.”
My phone dials someone’s phone number, and I press the “Hang-Up” button.
“I ain’t talking to a stranger though, Jesus. I gotta have more info. You can’t just type a number in like that and expect me to know what to say. You gotta give me ‘Who, What, When and Where.'”

Convinced that I was a part of something “Supernatural,” I just sat and listened to the preacher preach.

Then, I bring up the “Settings” on my radio.
That’s where I found it.
Connected to my radio through my Bluetooth is Momma’s Cell phone.
I was following mom home from Gatlinburg, and I was close enough that her phone connected to my radio.
Not only that, I looked at my phone and found that I was connected to Mom’s radio in her vehicle.

I was kinda bummed.
I was really hoping that I was a part of something Supernatural.

I unpaired my mom’s phone from my radio and unpaired my phone from mom’s radio.
All was right in my vehicle, again.

I was bummed, though.

Oh, and the same thing was happening in Mom’s vehicle.
Except she was listening to “Johnny Dollar” on Old-Timey Radio.
