Another Perfect Day

Today is going to be a Perfect Day.

Throughout everyone’s life, everyone should experience many “Perfect” Days.
Your Wedding Day, for example, should be Perfect. So Perfect that I capitalize it when I write about it.
The day of your Proposal should be Perfect.
When I saw “Pink Floyd” in the ’90s, it was a Perfect Day.
And the day of my Baptism was Perfect.

Hopefully, by the time we pass from this life into the next, we will have all experienced many Perfect Days.
And today is going to be a Perfect Day for me.
At least, that is what I am shooting for.

I visited three stores today in search of one item.

“Will this work, sir? It’s flat and round.”

“No, I’m sorry. I know it’s Chocolate, flat and round, but it has to be a Chocolate Coin. Nothing else will work.”

The first two places did not have any.
They carry them, of course, and I see them there all the time, but when I need a Chocolate Coin…, they’re out.

The third place came through.
They were out of the candy on the Candy Aisle.
So, I began walking the store, aisle by aisle, looking to see if anyone had sat any of it down. This strategy has worked for me time and time again.
And, sitting in the Women’s Bra Section, a shopper had decided against getting the candy and sat it down on a shelf.

I stopped and looked at it, “Perfect,” I said to myself, then reached down and picked it up.
I examined it closer.
” Yes. Perfect.”
