Crafts Antiques & Collectibles

—Crafts Antiques & Collectibles—

I made my way over to Pigeon Forge, Tn., today.

My mission was to visit one of the Candy Stores and buy some Sugar-Free Candy.
The store I usually visit was closed, though.

Next door was a place that piqued my interest, called “Crafts, Antiques & Collectibles.” In I went.

The manager was really friendly and kindly told me that I could look around but that she was about to close for the day. I told her that I understood and that I wouldn’t take long at all.

The store is a lot like a Flea Market.

I’m guessing that people rent space and then place their goods in their space to sell. Then, one manager oversees the daily operations.

They have Collectible Electric Train sets, Model planes, cars and trucks, Crystal, Lead Crystal, dolls, records, and even gas pumps, to name a few items I saw while in there. They even had a Dale Earnhardt Trading Card that I think was signed. I took a picture of it.
I took a picture of everything that piqued my interest and kept moving. After all, I only had about five minutes until they closed.

I think I’ll wind up going back for a second time so that I can get a better look at things. Especially the electric trains—which I didn’t even get pictures of because I was too busy looking.

It was an interesting stop indeed.

Afterward, I was more in the mood for dinner than candy. So, I stopped off at Taco Bell and came back to the cabin.

That’s all for now.

Love you,

–Lynn
