It’s 2 AM EST, and I’ve safely made it back to the Cabin.
It rained the whole trip, which made it take a bit longer.
I also didn’t get off at Lenoir City and go through the mountains. I felt it would be wet and unsafe. So, I got off at Pigeon Forge exit 407.
The internet line outside is definitely down, and I’m using my Mobile Hot Spot to post this.
I also have the upstairs TV running through the Hot Spot.
Of course, I know the upstairs TV works because I’m using it, but I’m not sure about the bedroom TVs yet.
So far, I’d say over 50% of all light bulbs are out.
That’s as far as I’m getting tonight. I gotta get some sleep for a long day of inventory-ing tomorrow.
I am here to get the internet back up and running and document what is burnt out. (I can’t physically move a hot tub…) Oh yeah, the hot tub got burnt out.
You may not have read but the High Wind Storm that came through a few nights ago, made the “Neutral” cable on the power pole break. Without that neutral, much of the electrical devices in the cabin burned up.
The Power Company was quick to arrive and fix the issue by running a new line. I walked back there with my flashlight tonight and saw the newly run cable.
I’m hoping for a quick trip. We have Guests coming Friday or Saturday.
