I arrived at the Cabin around 10:00 a.m. Eastern time.
The drive up was depressing. It was raining and gloomy for the whole trip.
I was the only one on the interstate for the first couple of hours. Remember, I had left before 3 a.m.
—And it rained and rained.
I was glad for the drive to be over.
I brought in all my supplies, including food, and made out my bed on the couch.
I sleep on the couch when I’m up here at the Cabin. It’s soft and feels good on my back.
I turned the TV on the Philo App and began watching the shows I’ve set it to record.
I have everything from Everybody Loves Raymond to the Golden Girls.
Of course, I turned it on to “The Andy Griffith Show.”
At 4 p.m., I woke up to sunshine.
Just seeing the sun made me feel much better.
I’m going to hang out here for the night.
I have bacon and Cheese toast planned for tomorrow morning.
