—Cabin 6/25/22 – Surprise Visit—
I got a surprise visit from Mom and my Aunt.
Yep. They drove up to the Cabin and surprised me.
We had talked about them coming up some time while I was up here, but we never talked about a date or anything.
So, I was pleasantly surprised.
I want to take them to Cosby, Tn., to visit some of the shops and get a bite to eat. I’m thinking Liver and Onions.
This morning, I made myself a cup of coffee and sat on the porch listening to the sounds of wildlife here in the Mountains.
I could hear the Chipmunks hopping through the leaves and the birds chirping.
The Tram passes by, taking passengers to Ober Gatlinburg.
I sip my coffee.
Mom comes upstairs, pokes her head out the door, and says, “I’m heating up the fried Apple Pies for Breakfast. Do you want me to heat one up for you?”
I answer, “Yes, please. Thank you.”
And I say to myself, “It’s gonna be a good day.”
