—Cabin – Day 3 – Evening—
I straightened the Cabin up today and took a shower.
Mom and my Aunt are on the way. But, unfortunately, my Uncle didn’t come with them.
The Driving App “Life360” that we use says that they are about an hour away.
The forecast is for snow tonight; Not much. A light dusting, but for those of us above the Snow Line, it could mean much more snow.
So, I have a fire built.
Two women staying in the Cabin next door asked if they could park in our driveway because their car couldn’t get up their driveway. I told them it was fine. I also called Mom and warned her that a strange car would be in the driveway when she arrived. She understood.
Their driveway must be too wet. It’s rained off and on all day today.
I’m waiting for Mom to arrive before taking the decorations down.
She didn’t get the chance to see them this year and wanted to see them.
So, I’ll get started taking the decorations down tomorrow.
I have to be out on the 17th because we have renters coming in on the 18th.
So that gives me plenty of vacation time.
Today, I went to the gas station at the bottom of the mountain and got greeted with a big ol’ “Hey, Lynn! Welcome Back!” I felt like “Norm” on Cheers.
I’ll stop by there each day to say “Hey” to the fellas.
