It’s 10:45 PM, and I just arrived home from a terrific, Get-Together with some dear friends.
I’m going to post that story after a good night’s sleep.
I was on my way home thru Fayette, Jasper, Cordova, Dora (Im not sure about the order), and onto the Warrior-Jasper Road.
I was driving 45 MPH in a 55 MPH zone when I came upon a deer—a 6-point deer. It’s odd the things you notice in an instant. 6-points.
The deer appeared to be mad at me for trespassing on its property, and it came at my vehicle trying to ram it.
I swerved, and it missed my truck. I noticed that I was passing “Autumn Lane” during the swerve. It is weird, the things you notice in an instant.
That is the closest I’ve ever come to hitting a deer.—That I can remember at the moment.
When leaving tonight to return home, someone warned me that the deer were out and about tonight. And they were right.
I’m safely home and getting into bed.
After leaving the Get-Together, my heart was three times bigger than it was before. So I’m going to sleep very well tonight.
That’s all for now.
Love you,
–Lynn
