Gatlinburg – First Night

—Gatlinburg – Night – 1—

Unexpectedly, we had some cancellations at our cabin that we rent out, and I saw an opportunity to drive up and check on things as well as have a “Mental Vacation.” —That’s what I’m calling it.

My Uncle has been telling me that the interstate is bad going thru Chattanooga, Tn., and he was right. It took about an hour getting thru Chattanooga. After that, though, it was smooth sailing.

I’m not planning on going to any crowded places.
I don’t want to get the latest COVID variant. So, I’m going to keep myself out of the crowds.

I know I can get a good Reuben Sandwich at “The Hofbrauhaus and Cheese Cupboard” located in Gatlinburg and not have to deal with a crowd.
I’ll visit places like that.

I’ve unpacked my bags, set up the cameras so that Momma and Papa can check on me, and had my shower.

I’m now watching TV and will hit the sack in a bit.

We have someone coming in on the 15th, and I plan on getting out by the 12th.

That’s all for now.

Love you,

–Lynn
