I had an excellent day today. Busy, but still excellent.
The day started at about 6:30 AM.
I got out of bed, let “Tommy” the Dawg out, and took my Niece to School.
Papa takes the other Niece to her School.
Upon returning, I turned the Water Hose on and watered my Garden.
I then watered all of Mom’s plants.
By 10:30, I was hungry.
I remembered that we had Lettuce and all the makings for a great Salad, so I began taking Vegetables out and Dicing them up for my Salad.
I like to layer my Salad. It’s something taught to me by my Late Brother.
The Salad was great.
I had also bought two mini-Watermelons from the local Dollar General.
I cut it open and shared it with Mom and Papa.
After eating, I took a shower and a nap.
I woke back up at 1 PM and hopped in the car to go and get in the School Line to pick my Neice up. She gets out at 2:45 PM, and I pride myself on being at the front of the line. Today, however, I was second in line. I arrived at 1:20 PM.
After getting her, we all met at O’Charley’s in Fultondale. I had the Lousiana Sirloin Steak. Medium-Rare. A Baked Potato and Asparagus for my two sides. Water to drink.
We sat and talked while we ate.
The girls kept wanting to leave immediately after eating, and I kept saying that I was going to order Coffee and Dessert to eat. That drove them crazy. I didn’t, of course, order any Coffee or Dessert.
It’s after 6 PM.
My shoes are off, and I’m sitting in my recliner watching “The Andy Griffith Show” and Journaling about my day. I may turn in early.
