Pottery House Cafe and Grille

—Pottery House Cafe and Grille—

I had skipped breakfast this morning and wanted an early lunch—a light lunch at that.

My friend, Lee Ann, had told me about the “Pottery House Cafe and Grille,” located at ” The Old Mill.” It sounded perfect for today.

I got dressed and put on my favorite sweater.

At 11:30 AM EST, I arrived and parked around back.
It’s a nice restaurant that reminds me of “The Creamery” when it was open in Cullman, Alabama.
They have entrances in the front and the back.
They also have lots of patio space for outside dining.

The story of “The Old Mill” is fascinating.
Everything from the Bread you eat, to the Plates you eat from, gets made there. —I recommend checking out their website.

I was seated next to the Fire Place, which I enjoyed.

The Menu has many Soups, Salads, and Sandwiches, which I was in the mood to have. Well, the Soup and salad, that is.
They also have many things, such as Black Angus Burgers and Ribeye Sandwiches on the Menu.

I ordered a bowl of “Baked Potato Soup” and a “Side Salad.”—For a buck and a quarter more, you can get your Soup served in a bread bowl.
It comes with two slices of in-house-made bread.
I had tea to drink.

My waitress was delightful, and the atmosphere was terrific.

My total came to around thirteen bucks.
I left my waitress some Gold 1 Dollar Coins for a tip.

If you’re in the area, give “The Pottery House Cafe and Grille,” located at “The Old Mill,” a try.

That’s all for now.

Love you,

–Lynn

PS – Thank you, Lee Ann, for suggesting this place.
