—The Cabin—
The Cabin could have caught fire.
We were Blessed that someone was staying there.
We were also Blessed with who was staying there—a friend.
They arrived Thursday night. Everything was fine.
Then, a wind storm along with snow came through during the night.
When they woke up and started using the electricity, they noticed things were not right.
First, turning on the hairdryer made the lights upstairs come on.
Next, the microwave wouldn’t work nor the Keurig Coffee Maker.
The internet was out as well.
They got in touch with me, and we ended up getting in touch with the Power Company and had them come out.
The Power company showed up pretty quickly.
They found that the “Neutral” line from the powerline to the Cabin had broken during the night.
They shut the power off to the Cabin and repaired the line.
Now, though, the appliances are burnt out, as well as the Hot Tub.
The Internet equipment is also burnt out.
So, I have to run back up there Tuesday and get things squared away.
The next guests arrive Saturday, I believe, and I’m going to try and have everything back up and running.
The guests have been extremely nice and understanding. That makes all the difference.
That’s all for now.
Love you,
–Lynn
