A relaxing yet productive day today.
I helped cook Sunday Lunch today. It’s actually one of my favorite meals.—The Top Five, at least.
My most favorite meal is Country Fried Steak and Gravy with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Creamed Corn, Sweet Peas, and Brown and Serve Rolls. Also, the phrase “most favorite” is acceptable in the South. I digress.
This was not that meal.
Today’s meal was Saurkraut and Weenies, Ford Hook Lima Beans, Sweet Corn, Sweet Peas, and Fried Potatoes.
I made this meal often when I lived alone at my house in Huntsville, Alabama. It’s quick and easy. I sometimes made Augraten Potatoes with it. The easy kind that you find in the box at the store. —I was a bachelor living alone, so I kept life as simple as possible.
Afterward, I got caught up on “The Chosen.” I’m really enjoying the show.
So far, they have three Seasons, and Episode five came out tonight.
I had watched all the way up to Season three, Episode four, and waited for the fifth episode to come out at 6 PM CST.
It helps to know which scenes are from the Bible and which scenes they wrote into the story.
I don’t think tomorrow is going to be too busy. I’m hoping not, anyway.
I’ll get up and take Niece number two to School.
Afterward, I’ll do whatever until time to go and get in the School Line to pick her up and bring her back home.
