A rough morning.
Driving home last night, my “Low Fuel” light came on.
I was already on our street, so I figured I’d fill it up on my next trip out.
Turned out, though, that my next trip out was taking Niece number 2 to school this morning. It’s my fault for letting it get too low.
I take her to school every morning, so it’s not like I didn’t know. I wasn’t thinking.
It was a rough morning already, so that just added to it.
Again, my fault.
My doctor’s Nurse Practitioner did call me about my test results.
She said that they were happy with all of my numbers.
That made me feel better.
I should be able to finish my latest book, “The Grapes of Wrath,” by the end of the day today or tomorrow.
One of the girls in the book is named “Rose of Sharon,” and I’ve been walking around the house having fun saying things aloud using her name.
“Rose of Shar’n, don’t ya be going ’round doin’ that.”
I have fun with it.
I’ve had my shower and have changed out my Wafers and Bags.
Lenny and Squiggy, the names of my two ostomies, feel better now.
It’s almost 10 o’clock, and I’m feeling better myself.
So, I guess it’s time to get this day started.
That’s all for now.
Love you,
–Lynn
