I went for a drive first thing this morning. That is something that I’ve had to cut back on since gas prices went up. Today was an exception, though.
I awoke at 5 AM.
The last thing I remember is coming inside the house a little after 1 PM to take a nap.
It was a serious nap, too. I got undressed and got under the sheets. Both. That’s a serious nap.
And here I am, waking up at 5 AM the next day.
Fourteen hours of laying in my bed had done a number on my bones, spinal cord, and muscles. I was hurting, and my spinal cord was shocking me. So, I went for an early drive.
I stopped by the local Fast Food Joint to get a biscuit.
I got the Number 1, Large-Sized, with a Diet Coke to drink.
“I’m sorry, but we are out of Tater-Tots right now. Will French Fries do?”
I wanted to say, “I love you,” but I didn’t.
“Fries will be fine. Thank you.”
I got home with my food, and just as I had always suspected, French Fries go great with a Chicken Biscuit.
The rest of the day went great.
I weeded and watered my Garden.
Mom and I even planted some flowers that her sister and brother-in-law had given her.
I was good and tired by the time I got finished.
It’s nice to be good and tired when you come inside to eat dinner.
I wonder if I can order Fries every morning.
