I decided to take the “Dawgs” out for a ride today.
The last time they were out was the day before my trip to Mt. Airy, North Carolina. And as soon as we returned from that trip, Mom had her Knee Replacement Surgery.
Mom’s doing well, and Niece Number One is sitting with her today and helping her with her exercises.
When I last looked in, they were watching “Age Of Adeline” on TV.
It’s a good movie if you’ve yet to see it.
Women like the “Love” part, and Men like the Science aspect, making it a Great Date Movie.
On the road, “Tommy” put his head out the front passenger-side window while “Otis” stuck his head out the back driver-side window.
The outside temperature was 86.
I turned on an episode of Jack Benny and let my arm hang out my window as I drove through the countryside.
The Cows were lying down today. That means something in the Fishing World; what, I don’t remember.
Farther up the road, the Horses were all gathered in a team and standing. —I think I said that correctly.
At one point, Tommy looked at me, came in closer, and licked my cheek. I felt the love from him.
He hated when I licked him back, though.
And it’s been a good day.
