A stormy day today.
Yesterday evening, a big storm came through the area.
Some people saw Golf ball size hail.
We’ve seen an increase in storms in this area lately.
Fortunately for us, all the trees that could get knocked down have already been knocked down.
The “Dawgs” all come into my room when it’s stormy.
Today I ran to CVS to pick up a few things.
I have a CVS card that costs me around five bucks a month.
That card pays for itself.
My total at the register, before my card, was 41 Dollars.
After applying all of the Coupons I loaded onto my CVS Card, the total was 14 bucks.
I also get emails from CVS telling me how much I’ve saved to date, etc., and this year, I’ve saved over $2k by using the CVS card at the store.
Like I said, it pays for itself.
Mom is doing great.
She still has about five weeks to go before she is back and no longer has to use the walker.
Her appetite is getting better as well.
I still have to “trick” the dogs just to get over to my laptop so I can Journal.
I throw some treats to one side of the room and then quickly get over to my laptop while they eat them.
The Cabin is officially getting rented out.
The money made from the rent is important to Mom and Papa since they are retired and no longer work.
The company feels they can keep it rented much of the time.
Well, the “Dawgs” have finished their treats and are back jumping up on me, so I’ll end this entry here.
