I left the house and headed to eat lunch at “The White House Restaurant” today.
“The White House,” as we call it, is a Staple of the town of Warrior, Alabama.
No, it doesn’t look like The White House in Washington, D.C.
It does have pictures of every U.S. President, from President George Washington to our current President.
When I arrived, though, every parking spot was taken.
If you don’t get there early, you won’t get a parking spot. It gets filled up quickly for lunch and dinner.
So, I rode around in search of something to eat.
I passed several Restaurants before stopping and eating at the Mexican Restaurant, “La Pyramid.”
They have a Steak on their Menu that I enjoy very much.
I believe it’s called the “Warrior Special” or something like that.
It’s a 12-ounce Ribeye that comes with a Mound of Grilled Onions, Bell Peppers, and Tomatoes.
It comes on the biggest plate they have, and the Mound covers the Steak.
The Steak is Warm, moist, and juicy, and as I said earlier, the Vegetables are Grilled.
I sat my hat on the table, said the Blessing, and reached for my camera to take a picture of this goodness.
That’s when I realized that I had left my phone in my vehicle.
Oh well. Some things you have to see for yourself.
Lunch was Delicious.
