I pulled my truck close to the House in the driveway.
I got out, got a garbage bag, and began cleaning the truck.
“Tommy The Dawg” and “Otis” begin getting excited. I keep a straight face.
Coke Bottles
Fast Food Drink Cups
Fast Food Bags
—Just a few of the items on the floorboard of the truck.
“Tommy” begins hopping straight up and down like a Rabbit. It amuses me when he does this.
I fill the trash bag up.
I walk over to “Tommy and Otis” and smile at them.
“You guys wanna go for a Ride?” “Ride” is the keyword I want them to learn and associate “Ride” with going for a Ride in the truck.
I load them into the truck and buckle them in.
Tommy puts his head out the window before I even leave.
Otis lays down in the back seat.
I put “Pink Floyd” on, select “The Final Cut” album, and begin our drive through the countryside.
It was a beautiful drive. The Sky looked good.
I take the “Dawgs” past the Horses. The Dawgs stare at the Horses.
I then go by the Cows.
“The Cows are standing today,” I say to the Dawgs.
I turn and go by the Goat Farm.
At the Goat Farm, we pass around twenty Goats out Grazing.
Pink Floyd’s “The Final Cut” is a great album and one of my favorite “Floyd” albums.
We spend over an hour on our drive before I turn and point the truck towards Home.
When we arrive at the House, I say to the Dawgs, “We’re Home. Home. Get it? Home.”
I want them to associate “Home” with Home.
I park and let the Dawgs out. I then tell them to go “Quick.”
I’ve taught them that “Quick” means to go relieve themselves.
They both go and pick out a bush and do their business.
After that, we are officially finished with the outing.
It’s been a good day so far.
I hope yours is a great one.
