I planted my Tomato Seeds today into their Starter Pods.
Never having much luck growing Huge Beefy Tomatoes, I chose “Rutgers” Tomatoes for this year. They should be about the size of a Baseball.
Rutgers Tomatoes have been around for a long time and are many people’s favorite kind of Tomato, and I’m looking forward to growing them. I hope to have better luck this year.
I planted Twenty Pods with three seeds in each Pod (Per Directions).
I also have some Habanero and Sweet Pepper Seeds that I will plant.
I’m told to keep those two apart from each other, or the Habanero Peppers will turn the Sweet Peppers into Hot Peppers. I got a headache typing that.
Then, I have Cantaloup and Watermelon Seeds. I don’t know if I’m going to plant those this year.
I’ve never successfully grown a Cantaloupe or a Watermelon. No, never.
I also have some Squash Seeds. I have had luck with Squash in the past.
Then, last but not least, I have 72 Pods for just:
—Peppermint
—Parsley
—Rosemary
—Cilantro
—Dill
—Basil
I grew Basil last year and had such success that I decided to grow a wider variety this year.
I’d like to have an assortment of these in the Kitchen window for easy access.
I should have every Seed planted into their Pod by the end of this week.
Tomorrow, I’m taking “Tommy The Dawg” to the Vet for a check-up. Next week, I’ll take “Otis The Dawg.” The Vet couldn’t see them both at the same time. More on this later.
That’s all for now.
Love you,
–Lynn
