I got some great news this morning.
I was eating the Continental Breakfast, in the Breakfast Room next to the lobby, when I decided to walk over to the lobby and speak with the hostess.
I asked if there had been any cancellations for any rooms like mine: A (2) Bed.
That way, I could keep my room, and they could put whoever would get my room inside the canceled room.
And, again, it worked.
I get to keep my room.
One “hiccup” has happened.
I got a reminder text from one of my Doctors that I have an appointment scheduled for Monday at 1:00 p.m.
If you know me, you know I take my body pretty seriously. I keep up with it. It’s my Vehicle. I may not have taken as good of care of it as I should, but I know it. I know my body, and just as important, I keep my Doctor appointments. I’m not about to reschedule it. I must’ve forgotten to add it to my Calendar. Accidents happen.
According to my GPS, and my experience of driving up here, my trip home should take 2 hours. 2 hours and 8 minutes according to my GPS.
So, I’ll leave out at 8 a.m. on Monday Morning and should have plenty of time to make my appointment. —Keep your fingers crossed for me.
Today, I’m going to shower, drive into Franklin, and see what I can find.
