GI Bug – Day 3

Whatever I have, it’s worse than the COVID I had in the past.

I’m still not convinced that I’m not going to wind up in the hospital.
Anytime my abdomen is this sore, it usually means that something has Intussusepted, such as the bowel or colon.

I guess I’ve had so much done that I’m “Gun Shy.”
The least little thing happens, and I think, “this is it,” this is how it ends for ol’ Lynn. I get scared.

That said, this morning, I took a shower and changed the wafers and bags on my abdomen. That is a pretty big job to do when healthy. It takes a good half hour to an hour to shave and “Prep” the skin and change everything.
So, I think it’s a good sign that I could do all of that.

I’ve taken two Home COVID Tests just to make sure I don’t have that, and both have come back Negative.
It’s also important to note that I never ran a fever during all of this.
Yesterday and last night were absolutely miserable, though. I had to get mom or Papa; I don’t remember which one, to put two more blankets on me because I was cold.

This couldn’t have happened at a worse time.
I had to cancel a very important event. That’s what hurts the most.

I think I may be on the mend.

Love you,

–Lynn
