—Three On A String – The Sugar Creek Dinner Club—
Last night I went out with my Aunt and Uncle to the “Sugar Creek Dinner Club.”
Sugar Creek Dinner Club, located deep inside Blount County, is a club for music lovers.
To become a member, you must attend two events in the same season.
And, with last night being my second attendance in one season, I am now the newest member of “The Sugar Creek Dinner Club.”
They have Light Fare at the “Snack Bar,” where you can purchase Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Soft Drinks, Ice Cream, and more.
Before COVID, they served a more in-depth “Dinner” menu but have had to cut back to serving more “Snack Bar” types of food.
The “Dress” is informal.
Shorts, a shirt and sandals will work.
Or, you can dress your best.
Many people enjoy dressing for the Era of music getting performed on a particular night, such as ’20s Jazz.
They do not have events every weekend. So, you must check their Website or Social Media Page for the Schedule.
Now, let me tell you about the show.
—Three On A String—
The Southern Group, “Three On A String,” have been performing all over America for over thirty years.
They make it look easy to do what they do. It isn’t, though.
What you’re actually seeing is talent—Great Talent.
They are Masters of their Craft.
Their funny antics on stage, combined with their musical talents, make for one great show.
I laughed harder than I’d laughed in a long time.
Simply Brilliant.
The crowd plays a big part in their show, making Sugar Creek Dinner Club the perfect place to see their show.
The stage is about two feet above the floor, and the crowd sits close to the stage, making for a very intimate, warm setting.
The performers can feed off the crowd as much as the crowd feeds off the performers.
Three On A String play music from all Music Genres.
From Bluegrass to Southern Rock to Church Hymns, they play it all.
They had us laughing and, at times, crying.
You gotta hear them sing “What A Wonderful World.”
If you get the chance to see “Three On A String,” take it. It’s worth the price of admission.
It was a wonderful night.
That’s all for now.
Love you,
–Lynn
