Chicken Gizzards

God put a lot of food on this earth for us to eat, and I do my best trying as much of it as possible.
As long as a particular food won’t interfere too much with my Diabetes or my Spina Bifida, I’ll try it. I usually find that I like it, too.

You’re asking yourself, “What is Lynn eatin’ now?”
“Chicken Gizzards.” I love Chicken Gizzards. Always have.
My late Brother loved ’em too.

Mom told me today that she bought some uncooked Chicken Gizzards at the store, and I told her, “Let’s fry those bad boys up!”

The first thing she did with them was to cook them in one of those “Insta Pots.” An Insta Pot is a new type of “Pressure Cooker.” It’s not an Old Fashioned Pressure Cooker, but it is a “Type Of” Pressure Cooker.

Using Hot Peppers that she Dried, mom put Spices on the Gizzards before cooking them in the Insta Pot.
She kept the “Chicken Gizzard Stock” to make Gravy for something else tomorrow.

Then, we put Oil in a Frying Pan and got it very hot.
We mixed the Gizzards up in a bowl of Flour, Salt, and Pepper and Fried them.

Mmm-Mmm, good.
I am so glad I’m not a picky eater.
