I Planted another Garden today.
You may remember, at the beginning of Summer, I Planted a Garden in a Raised Flower Bed that Papa had made.
I called it my “Disabled Friendly Garden.”
You may remember that Broccoli was part of that Garden.
To this day, I don’t know why Ace Hardware had Broccoli Plants out for sale at the beginning of Summer.
It turns out that Broccoli should get Planted about right now.
Needless to say, my Broccoli shot straight up but yielded no Broccoli.
I was devastated. Yep. I had sat at the Dining Room Table for 6-weeks with my bowl of Ranch Dressing in front of me, just waiting for the Broccoli to grow. Nothing. Not even one.
The Ranch ruined. I threw it away.
Today, though, I bought 5 Broccoli Plants at Ace Hardware and Planted them back in the same spot as the last Broccoli Plants.
I’m not holding out hope. In other words, I haven’t gone out and bought another bottle of Ranch Dressing yet.
I also bought 5 Romaine Lettuce Plants.
I Planted those in Flower Pots.
If they grow, that is Great. If not, at least I learned.
I also took my Dawg Tommy with me on my trips.
He loves it.
He and I went out four times today.
Any time I get up, he looks to see if I’m getting my keys to leave.
And he knows, “Hold On!” means to hold on for dear life.
He gets it and listens to me when I say, “Hold On!”
