Gatlinburg: Here We Come

I took my truck for its annual oil change. Yes. It was a few miles over the recommended mileage.
While there, I spoke with an 82-year-old man that was a card, I tell ya. He was a card.
I’d like to write about him today, but some things I can’t write “Hot,” and he and his story is one of those things.
I’ll have to absorb his story and hopefully write it soon.

Plus, I gotta get out of here. I’m headed to the Cabin in Gatlinburg for a good fifteen days.
My dear Momma will be with me.
I plan on seeing as much as I can on this trip, and I do plan on writing about my adventures.

I’ve packed my Medical Supplies and have my Emergency Hospital Bag in hand.
I’ll come clean, no pun intended, and tell you that my clothes are all in a “Dirty Clothes” bag. Yes. The clothes on my back are the only “Clean” clothes I am taking. As I said, the rest of my wardrobe is in the “Dirty Clothes Bag.”
So, I’ll have to do a load of laundry after I arrive.

This trip is an important one for me.
Maybe, and quite possibly, it is the most important trip I’ve taken in a while.
More on that later.

For now, I must get on the road.

Love you,

Lynn
