The Big Easy

—The Big Easy—

My Brother and I crossed over into New Orleans, A.K.A., “The Big Easy,” at about 4:30 p.m. today.
New Orleans is officially the farthest West I’ve ever gone.

My Brother is here on Business.
While he works during the day, I will visit some interesting sites, such as the WWII Museum.
Then, when he returns from work at night, he and I will go out to eat and hang out together.

We checked into our Hotel Room and unpacked.
We are only staying at this Hotel for one night. That’s because the regular Hotel my Brother uses couldn’t get us a room until Tomorrow. —He has to travel here about once a year for his work.

After unpacking, we left for “Toup Meatery.” Our Reservation was for 6:45 p.m. —Into an Uber car we got.

Toup Meatery is located about two miles away from Bourbon Street.
They have some great Meat. Period. Meat.
I finally got to try a Wagyu Steak.
Wagyu Steak is an extraordinary type of Steak.
You can Google “Wagyu Steak” and learn all about it if you’d like.
It’s delicious. I hear you’ll get sick if you overeat Wagyu Steak. I’d guess my Steak was 8 ounces in size. Eight ounces for 55 Dollars. That is the Market Price. It came with New Potatoes, and it all was delicious.
—And now I can say that I’ve eaten a Wagyu Steak.
My Brother had a “Double Porkchop.” It was 4 inches thick. I’m not kidding. I’ll post pictures in another post. I’m waiting for my Pictures to Upload to the Cloud.

Afterward, we went to Bourbon Street. Wow. Bourbon Street.
On Bourbon Street, I saw Superman, Batman, A guy handcuffed to his girlfriend, a girl handcuffed to her boyfriend, two girls handcuffed together, and two guys handcuffed together. I have never before seen anything like what I saw on Bourbon Street.
I told my Brother, “I’m the normal person here.”

We are now back in our room, and I am about to go to bed.

More Tomorrow.

Love you,

–Lynn
