Daily Update

I enjoy Pimento Cheese Sandwiches. I also enjoy Chicken Salad Sandwiches. “Mrs. Stratton” makes good Pimento Cheese and Chicken Salad. I also like Tuna Salad.

I know how to make my own Chicken and Tuna Salad. —I add celery and sweet peas.

Mom, however, makes Homemade Pimento Cheese. And it’s pretty tasty.
She told me how she makes hers, which will give me something to try myself sometime soon.

I don’t know if it’s a “Secret” Recipe, but I’ll give you an idea of what Mom puts into her Pimento Cheese.

— Sharp Cheddar Cheese
—Bama Mayonnaise
—Cream Cheese
—Pimentos
—Salt and Pepper

I may have forgotten something, but you get the idea.

It goes great on a Sandwich.
It also goes great with Pineapples.
If you like pineapple sandwiches, use pimento cheese instead of regular cheese. —Your Welcome.

Now, onto my Garden:

If you remember, I started my Garden inside the house using the Starter Pods.
The directions said to start my Garden indoors about 4 to 6 weeks before Spring. I did.
Well, every Pod now has something growing out of it.
I get the feeling that I started too early. I’ll need to pot these plants or get them into my “Disabled Garden” fairly soon.
It’s all growing. I can’t even keep the top on the Pods Kit because the plants have grown too tall.
It’ll all be okay, though.

Onto something else:

I bought the Book, “The True Story of Lizzy Borden.”
I watched the movie and decided to buy the Book. Usually, people first read the Book and then watch the movie. I’m backward, though.

It’s a nice day out today—I should’ve started this Journal Entry with that sentence. Oh well. It’s so nice that I think I’ll take “The Dawgs” for a drive through the country. I might even get a story out of it.

In fact, that’s what I’ll do after typing this.

That’s all for now.

Love you,

–Lynn
