Prep Before Procedure

I’ve done my “Prep” work that I do before every Procedure.

For one, I straighten my room, so it’s clean when I come home.
I also have other reasons for cleaning my room before every Procedure, and I’ll keep that to myself. But you could probably put it together.

Then, I Sanitize my whole body. Yep. “Dial Antibacterial Soap.”
I Shave and put New Wafers and Bags on my Ostomies.

I dress in Clean, Comfortable Clothes that are easy to get in and out of. This includes Underwear. Remember what your Mom said when you were young?

I Check my “Hospital Bag” and ensure I have everything I need should I get admitted to the Hospital.

Lastly, I pack my laptop, phone, and chargers should I have to stay overnight.

And, of course, nothing to eat or drink after midnight.

In the Morning, at about 4:15 am, my Uncle will pick me up and drive me to the Hospital. I’m supposed to arrive at 5 am.
I am first on the list.
My Procedure starts at 7 am and should only take about 30 minutes.

I’ll update you after I get home tomorrow.

That’s all for now.

Love you,

–Lynn
